BlockProtector Complete Removal Guide
BlockProtector is a another rouge antivirus program that tries to convince its host that it is infected with various viruses in order to get the host to buy the software; when in fact the host is completely clean. BlockProtector will gain access to your system through Trojans and then begin to completely wreak havoc by hijacking your computer. It will cause multiple popups and fake system notifications that will act to slow down your computer. Even if you manage to turn the program off, it will boot back up.
The rouge program comes off fairly legitimate however it is all a ruse. By clicking on one of the popups or alerts, the user will be redirected to a website where you can gain a BlockProtector license. If you find yourself infected with this rouge program, you must take steps to remove it from your computer and DO NOT pay for the program.
Your best bet is to use an automatic removal tool. It is very difficult to remove BlockProtector on your own as it reinstalls itself to your computer automatically.

Step 1 Open task manager and end the follow processes:
BlockProtector.exe
Step 2 Go to MyComputer and locate the directory folder and delete all of the items related to BlockProtector.
Step 3 Go to your registry and delete all of the items that are related to the BlockProtector virus.
